Quick little story: I used to be a model and that’s me last on the right. Thing is, I was the first to model spongebob well over 3 years ago.. This costume has landed me on cracked.com’s 20 Costumes That Will Earn You a Halloween Beating; and I quote, “Aside from the “Would you like to buy some Bibles?” look on the model’s face, it’s the white leotards that seal the wearer’s fate. Or possibly the little red dick-tie.”// It has made Rage comics.. during Halloween I still get friends that text me a picture of them at a costume store holding the package to their face. And with that shit eating grin on their face.
The best part? I love it. So in my observation last night I google imaged “spongebob costume” and happened to notice they were all doing my pose! I find that hilarious, because since the shoot I and all of my friends have done nothing but make fun of it. And what probably took place was a quick google image search during the shoot to give examples. Now am I right in my observation? Perhaps.. Either way it’s still funny as shit to think about. How else would you explain THE SAME EXACT POSE ON EVERY MODEL?
